Red Knights 1billion Manchester United takeover fails
A group of wealthy Manchester United supporters who call themselves The Red Knights prepared a mega offer to buy Manchester United from the American businessman Malcolm Glazer. Manchester United are currently in a heavy debt following Glazer's takeover a few years ago, a debt that could see them losing vital players such as Wayne Rooney and Nemanja Vidic.
With a help of one of the most powerful men in English football, Pini Zahavi, The Red Knights launched a stunning bid that is over one billion pounds, which is more than 1.5 billion dollars to buy United. Malcolm Glazer rejected the offer and will continue to hold a control of The Red Devils.
United fans continue their protests which they call "Love United Hate Glazer" and want Malcolm Glazer and his family to leave their share of Man United. United fans are afraid that Glazer will sell The Old Trafford to Coca Cola and will get the team relegated. Manchester United supporters continuing their struggle against Malcolm Glazer.
